Ice skating is a great way to work off holiday stress. And luckily, for us, every year offers more outdoor ice-skating rinks — Beverly Hills joins the fun this year — where the staffs are welcoming and the settings are supercute. Someone will even help you with your lacing. If you are a beginner, they'll offer tips on “sculling,” and before you know it you'll be skating backward! And don't worry about falling — everybody does it. Ice skating also provides a good cardio workout and can even increase your self-confidence. If there are teenagers on cell phones texting their way around the rink, you are allowed to trip their asses as much as you want. See how many you can get splayed on the ice. Extra points for anyone in a porkpie hat!
