Calendar: The Liberated and Joyful Heart: How To Embody Love in a World That Needs Our Care

December 14, 2019

1pm

An afternoon with Trudy Goodman, Father Greg Boyle, Seane Corn, George Mumford & Jack Kornfield

Join us for heartfelt stories, transformative inner practices and inspiring conversation about the ways we can uplift our own hearts by embodying love in a world that needs our care. It is clear that in these divisive times our mindful loving awareness must include the liberation, dignity and justice for all beings. As Dr. Martin Luther King reminds us, we are not free until all are free.

Like breathing in and out, the gift of mindful loving awareness first helps us to quiet our mind and open our heart. And then it shows us each how to wisely and courageously respond to the troubles of the world.

Come be a part of this loving and uplifting annual benefit for InsightLA! The funds raised from your participation will support our mission of calming minds, opening hearts and changing the world. Some of the ways we carry this mission out is by making mindfulness more accessible through:

– the Insight in Action program that offers free mindfulness training to non-profit organizations on the frontlines of suffering,

– the Mudita Fund which offers financial support to people of color, and

– through providing financial support to others from marginalized groups and those in financial hardship.

InsightLA is a non-profit organization supported by the generosity of a community moved by compassion and love for the world.

Please purchase your ticket today, or consider making a donation to help us continue sharing the gift of mindfulness.
