Calendar: Obon 2019

60th ANNUAL OBON FESTIVAL
The Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple and the 2019 Obon Festival Committee would like to invite all members and friends of our Betsuin to join in the 60th Annual Obon Festival. This year’s celebration will be on Saturday and Sunday, July 27 and 28 from 1:00 to 9:00pm. Experience a cultural taste of Japan both contemporary and traditional. Music, food, games and traditional circle dancing are all part of what makes Obon a memorable experience. Free parking and shuttle service are available.
