Award-winning global pop star Lara Fabian returns to the US with her “50” WORLD TOUR in celebration of her 50th birthday. The North American leg of the tour will also celebrate Lara’s 30 years on stage. The tour announcement comes on the heels of her new album PAPILLON, which dropped for the audience just before St. Valentine’s Day (February 8). Her new body of work is in French and now available on all streaming platforms (iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, YouTube, SoundCloud).

The “50” WORLD TOUR will honor a musical career spanning three decades, 14 studio albums and sales of over 20 million albums worldwide. The show kicks off in New York on September 16, 2019.

Fabian became popular in the US by her self-titled English-language album in 1999. The album, written and produced by some of the most respected figures in the music industry including Glen Ballard and Walter Affanasief, featured several titles that topped the Billboard charts, such as the #1 Billboard dance/pop hit I Will Love Again. The last time the amazing entertainer Lara Fabian performed in front of her American fans was during her Camouflage World Tour exactly a year ago while promoting her 13th studio album with the same name, recorded with a Swedish-American music production team.

The Belgian-born Lara Fabian is an award-winning artist with recognitions from SOCAN and JUNO Awards (Canada), the World Music Awards and the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) among others. She is a household name in Europe, Turkey and around the world. Fabian is also a Gold Medal recipient of Women to Women Without Borders – the international advocacy and research organization with the goal of empowering women as agents of change.

ABOUT LARA FABIAN
Born in Brussels, Lara spends the first five years of her life on the Island of Sicily (Italy). In 1988, she represents Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Croire, coming in 4th. In 1990 she encounters the singer-songwriter, Rick Allison. Lara and Rick write together her very first self-titled album which has immediate success in Quebec, Canada. In 1994, her second album, titled Carpe Diem, goes triple platinum.

Five years later Lara releases her first English album in the USA (Sony Music). The dance-pop song I am who I am, remixed by Hex Hector becomes an underground club hit. The album goes on to sell over 3 million copies worldwide.

In August 2014, Lara releases the single Make Me Yours Tonight in Turkey, with a Turkish version titled Al Götür Beni. The song tops Turkish charts at number one and remains in the Top 10 for 19 straight weeks. In February 2015, Lara releases two “Best Of” albums, titled Essential and Selection, including new songs and later announces the release of her 11th French album titled Ma Vie Dans la Tienne. In 2017 she releaseed Camouflage, her first original English album in more than a decade, followed by a world tour.
