L.A. Opera presents Puccini's beloved opera "La Bohème" with an interesting staging by Barrie Kosky.
Vocalists Marina Costa-Jackson (as Mimi) and Saimir Pirgu (as Rodolfo) are forceful presences in L.A. Opera’s presentation of Puccini’s tragic opera about the two bohemian lovers in 19th-century Paris. Inventive director Barrie Kosky (The Magic Flute) presents the opera with minimal but arty staging, and James Conlon conducts the redoubtable L.A. Opera Orchestra.
