Beyond Baroque Gallery opening 2:00-5:00 Saturday November 2, 2019 of Beat Gallery artists

Beat Gallery artists Michael Wilson and Susan Spencer of Mendocino will feature their unique disassembled antiques combined with painting, collage and assemblage. They have international recognition for their styles and on occasion collaborate to unify a piece. Michael’s mentors were his friends of The Ferus Gallery. He feels he has been handed a baton to carry forward a never-ending art project that allows creative ideas to flourish. He is the son of a well known Hollywood animator. Susan is a self taught artist with ideas formed in a variety college art classes. She is a “voracious student” of collage and assemblage, its history, and its major practitioners. Their art is an adventure in the evolution of the making of Art, like a poetic development. They live and work in their studios on their ranch in Mendocino, California.
