Rhythm Visuals is pleased to announce its grand opening. This innovative gallery, located in the heart of Downtown LA’s South Park district, features bi-monthly shows focusing specifically on new and emerging artists.

Rhythm Visuals’ mission is twofold: to provide gallery space to artists who otherwise would not be able to show their artwork in a public arena, and to provide funds for the expansion of arts initiatives in the surrounding area. The gallery has committed a third of all gross art sales to nonprofit organizations dedicated to bringing full-fledged art, mentorship and educational programs to underserved areas in Los Angeles.

Two of Rhythm Visuals’ founders, brothers Corwin and Reed Garber, are displaying their work at the opening event. The show features a 24-foot-long panorama, large format prints and slide projections originating from a collection of entirely analog acquisitions. Inspired from journeys overseas and grainy aesthetics, they invite you to lose yourself in the eyes of foreigners and distant landscapes. The show features 35mm and 4x5 prints, 35mm slide projections, and 16mm motion-picture projection, with a strong focus on India and North Korea. The show is free and open to the public.
