NextDayBetter presents Food for Action: A celebration of LA’s Filipino food movement
Join NextDayBetter on Sunday, Dec. 9 for a gathering where culinary tastemakers, foodies, storytellers and changemakers collide to push the Filipino diaspora forward. Together, we will feast over Filipino inspired food, libations, stories, and world-changing ideas.
The event will feature a fireside chat with Allie Cuerdo, director and producer of documentary "ULAM: Main Dish” and a panel with Filipino chefs Alvin Cailan (The Usual NYC, Eggslut, Unit 120); Chase Valencia (LASA); Barb Batiste (B Sweet + Big Boi); Adrienne Borlongan (Wanderlust Creamery); and Johneric Concordia (The Park’s Finest). The conversation will be moderated by Samantha Duenas a.k.a. SOSUPERSAM.
Also included with purchase of ticket is tastings of Filipino food from top LA restaurants and an open bar sponsored by Genever and Don Papa.
