Over the last few years, there has been a lot of excitement about the Filipino food movement in Los Angeles and around the country. How might we celebrate the recent success of this new generation of restaurateurs while working to ensure lasting and sustainable growth within the movement for Filipino flavors across the globe?

Join NextDayBetter on Sunday, Dec. 9 for a gathering where culinary tastemakers, foodies, storytellers and changemakers collide to push the Filipino diaspora forward. Together, we will feast over Filipino inspired food, libations, stories, and world-changing ideas.

The event will feature a fireside chat with Allie Cuerdo, director and producer of documentary "ULAM: Main Dish” and a panel with Filipino chefs Alvin Cailan (The Usual NYC, Eggslut, Unit 120); Chase Valencia (LASA); Barb Batiste (B Sweet + Big Boi); Adrienne Borlongan (Wanderlust Creamery); and Johneric Concordia (The Park’s Finest). The conversation will be moderated by Samantha Duenas a.k.a. SOSUPERSAM.

Also included with purchase of ticket is tastings of Filipino food from top LA restaurants and an open bar sponsored by Genever and Don Papa.
