Cast away your troubles and hold onto those last shining splinters of summertime at this weekend’s  Shipwrecked Tiki Social & Bazaar, a voyage deep into the heart of tiki consciousness that boasts two floors stuffed to bursting with over 30 vendors, South Seas artisans and more tropical cocktails this side than of Polynesia itself. It’s The Warehouse’s final Tiki celebration of 2019, and throughout the course of four wondrous hours you’ll get to pore over the many marvels squirreled away in what stands as one of the most exotic marketplaces anywhere in Los Angeles.

One of the first businesses in Marina Del Rey, the Warehouse opened in 1969 at the height of the tiki era.  Real wharf posts compose the actual framework of the building.  Old wine and whiskey barrels, shipping crates, nautical rigging, fishing nets and weathered lumber were trucked in from abandoned shipyards in San Pedro.  The original decor and furniture was all hand-woven and constructed from Malaysian bamboo and Hawaiian cane.

What better place to be shipwrecked than here?
