Two Teens Sent to Hospital Following a Bicycle Accident in Camarillo Premium Outlets Parking Lot

CAMARILLO, CA (August 23, 2022) – On Friday around noon, Ethan Jordan and one other boy were injured in an accident near Ventura Boulevard.

The incident happened on August 5th, at around 12:25 p.m., at the 500 block of East Ventura Boulevard near Highway 101.

According to reports, two teenage boys were riding their bicycles through a parking lot when a Chevrolet Bolt heading south struck them. As a result of the collision, Jordan was pinned beneath the small electric hatchback, and dragged for several feet.

Dispatchers sent emergency crews to the area shortly after. Medics then rushed 14-year-old Jordan to Northridge Trauma Center for treatment of serious injuries. The other teen also sustained injuries and had to be taken to the hospital.

Meanwhile, the 68-year-old female driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the officers.

Friends of the Jordan family have set up a GoFundMe to support Jordan’s medical cost.
