Same old boring lunch? Not this week. For two weeks, you can explore the taste of the city and score $1 lunch at more than 100 of the best restaurants in DTLA, Santa Monica, Century City, Westwood and the Beverly Center.

Mobile ‘order ahead’ app Ritual is kicking off its LA Lunch Fest, a celebration to spice up the work lunch and escape the weekday grind. Lunch Fest runs September 16 – 27, 2019, and is available to both new and existing Ritual customers.

Enjoy $1 lunch at more than 100 restaurants in LA

All participating restaurants will feature $1 options on some of their most popular items, like coffee, smoothies, salads, and gourmet pizza. Lunch Fest offers an alternative to last night’s leftovers, and encourages Angelenos to explore new restaurants in their neighbourhood.

To access the fest, download the Ritual app and search “DOLLARLUNCH” to see participating restaurants in your area. The fest runs Monday to Friday until 5 p.m. each day, so start scheduling your lunch meetings now.

Ritual Features

  • Explore your community: Ritual partners with local restaurants, allowing its customers to search for their favorite restaurant or what they’re craving for lunch, order ahead, and pay in-app. The best thing? Customers skip the line when they arrive, and their food is ready to go.
  • Piggyback: the latest in social ordering. Work teams can connect and collaborate on lunch orders. Host an order and you earn reward points when you pick up colleagues orders from the same restaurant, or get a colleague to bring your lunch right to your desk. Everyone pays for their order individually, so there’s no, ‘pay you back next time’ involved.
  • Tech for good: Ritual saves your favorite orders, so there’s no need to customize your complicated latte order every time. The app tells you when to leave to pick up your lunch so you don’t waste time waiting around.
