82-Year-Old Man Killed after Vehicle Accident near Mission Trails Regional Park

SAN CARLOS, CA (July 14, 2022) – Friday afternoon, a traffic crash near Mission Gorge Road claimed the life of 82-year-old Errol Hunt.

On July 8, just after 4:00 p.m., police responded to a reported incident in the 7500 block of Mission Gorge Road. According to investigators, Hunt was traveling westbound in a Toyota SUV before making a left turn into a driveway. For reasons currently unknown, his vehicle struck two other vehicles that were traveling eastbound on the same road.

Emergency crews transported Hunt to Sharp Memorial Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Apparently, paramedics transported Hunt immediately to the Sharp Memorial Hospital, but he later succumbed to his injuries.

At this time, no other details about the incident have been released to the public. However, investigations are still underway. Those with further information about the collision are urged to call local authorities as soon as possible.
