50-Year-Old Rider Killed in Head-On Collision on Southbound State Route 159

LAS VEGAS, NV (August 1, 2022) – 50-year-old Erin Anthony O’Hayer lost his life in a motorcycle accident on State Route 159 Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened at 12:29 p.m. along southbound State Route 159 on July 24th.

Furthermore, according to state troopers, a black Yamaha motorcycle was riding northbound near mile marker two, while the Dodge Ram 5500 was traveling south.

For unknown reasons, the bike rider crossed into opposite lane and collided head-on with the Dodge Ram.

The collision ejected the Rider from his motorcycle onto the roadway.

Eventually, responding medics pronounced the Rider, O’Hayer, dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the Dodge male driver escaped the crash without any significant injuries. However, officials withheld his name at this time.

Las Vegas Officials are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal motorcycle crash and will release further updates once available.
