15-Year-Old Girl Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision in Koreatown

LOS ANGELES, CA (February 3, 2022) – Sunday morning, 15-year-old Erica Menjivar was killed in a 2-car crash on New Hampshire Avenue.

The two-vehicle collision happened on the 300 block of North New Hampshire Avenue near Beverly Boulevard at about 9:00 a.m.

According to reports, an unidentified driver ran a red light and struck Menjivar. The impact then ejected her from the vehicle onto the roadway.

Despite life-saving efforts, paramedics pronounced Menjivar dead at the scene due to the extent of her condition. Emergency crews have not yet stated whether or not she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

At this time, authorities have not released any more information regarding the deadly two-vehicle collision. Once available, further details will be provided.
