Traffic Accident near Day Street Left Motorcyclist Dead

MORENO VALLEY, CA (July 28, 2022) – A motorcycle crash on the 60 Freeway claimed the life of 47-year-old Eric Trainer Monday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol report, the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the 60 Freeway near Day Street.

Furthermore, investigators at the scene said a motorcycle and a pickup truck collided for reasons unknown, leaving the rider with critical injuries.

Eventually, the Riverside County Coroner’s office declared Trainer dead after being transported to Riverside University Health System Medical Center.

Moreover, a portion of the roadway was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
