Injuries Reported after Vehicle Accident on Weaver Street
WEAVERVILLE, CA (June 21, 2022) – 38-year-old Eric Greenley sustained injuries Friday after a two-car crash on Highway 299.
The incident occurred around 9:54 a.m. on June 17th, west of Weaver Street on Highway 299.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Greenley was driving east on Highway 299 when he came to a stop on the right shoulder.
As he attempted to return to the roadway, an oncoming vehicle struck him for reasons unknown.
Responding officials found Greenley with minor injuries, while the other driver, Kenneth Dale of Cottonwood, escaped unharmed.
Furthermore, CHP stated that it is uncertain if drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
At this time, authorities are conducting an active investigation and will release additional information once available.
