Fatal Pedestrian Accident in San Jose Leaves One Dead

SAN JOSE, CA (June 11, 2021) – Wednesday night, a fatal San Jose pedestrian crash claimed the life of 51-year-old Eric Thomas Burton.

San Jose Police received reports of the collision around 9:44 p.m., on June 2 near Dana Avenue.

Initially, investigations revealed that a white 2000 Toyota Camry struck a man while he was crossing the intersection. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.

Medical personnel transported the man to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office identified the man as Eric Thomas Burton, 51, of San Jose.
