You’re looking to pack on size and strength but don’t want to turn to the extremely potent stuff such as AAS, as that can also negatively impact your health.
You want something relatively mild that’ll give you that extra boost in muscle mass and motivation to reach the physique you want.
That’s how you’ve stumbled upon Epiandrosterone, and now you wonder if it’s the product you need to get your hands on.
We’re going to show you everything you need to know – what it is, how it works, and more importantly, is it worth taking, or is there something better?

What Is Epiandrosterone?
Epiandrosterone, commonly referred to as Epi Andro, is a metabolite of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). Many call these products the new generation prohormones, as they’re still available on today’s market.
Bodybuilders and athletes use it to help them enhance physical performance. It’s said to positively impact lean muscle mass, strength, recovery, and power.
This compound has low androgenic activity and is mainly used for cutting and preserving muscle; it is said not to be effective for bulking.
Please note that only a limited amount of companies have this compound for sale with liposomal absorption technology. If you’re buying an Epiandrosterone product that doesn’t use liposomal technology, you won’t be absorbing much of the active ingredient.
The Benefits Of Epiandrosterone
Bodybuilders and athletes take this compound to help them take their performance to the next level. That means it comes with benefits that will help you do so.
As someone that has done a cycle with Epi Andro, I found that it offers the following benefits:
- Slight increase in strength
- Improving muscle fullness
- Better pumps and workouts
Some people claim that it also helps them enhance lean muscle mass, but I can’t say that it was great for boosting muscle growth. I was in a caloric surplus and training intensively, so I’m not sure why nothing happened.
That’s why I think it’s better for cutting and possibly preserving muscle mass. Keep reading as I’ll share my experience on what happened during my cycle.
Should You Use Epi Andro?
Of course, the main question you’ll want us to answer is whether or not you should use Epi Andro. I’m always interested in these products as I’m constantly looking for the best products to enhance my physique.
After going through many epiandrosterone logs, I saw many mixed opinions on its effectiveness. I wanted to experience it for myself and went on and used it for a total of 6 weeks.
As someone who has ended up doing a 6-week cycle of Epiandrosterone, I wouldn’t recommend taking it. Here’s why:
- The results and effects didn’t live up to my expectations
- A complete cycle, including post cycle therapy, is expensive
- There are side effects that don’t outweigh the benefits
It’s just not as I hoped it would be, but that might be different for others.
Instead, I would recommend looking at the Advanced Anabolic Stack by Huge Nutrition. It combines Huge Ecdysterone and Sapogenix, which are two potent muscle building products.
They technically aren’t prohormones, but they definitely work as well. I made significant progress with my first cycle and ended up gaining 8lbs.
Right now, I’m into my second cycle of the Advanced Anabolic Stack, aiming for similar results as well as an increase in strength.
You can get this muscle building stack directly from Huge Nutrition’s site. Take it for 4 to 8 weeks, and you’ll be surprised by how effective it is. It doesn’t require post cycle therapy as it won’t mess up your hormones.
Remember that I’m simply sharing my experience with this product; you have to choose for yourself if you’re going through with a cycle.
Epi Andro Dosage And Cycle Info
Despite not being a massive fan of this compound, I’ll share my knowledge and experience regarding dosages and the best approach for a cycle.
Generally speaking, users take a dosage ranging from 200mg to 800mg per day. That’s all over the place, but most users end up taking dosages of 500mg or higher because it doesn’t seem to work effectively at low dosages.
If you plan on running an Epi andro cycle, it is highly suggested to go for a higher dosage due to the compounds’ low androgenic activity. Consider starting low and gradually increasing the dosage till you find the sweet spot.
The length of a cycle usually lasts anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks, with 6 weeks being the most common. Remember that it takes about a week for the compound to start working, meaning shorter cycles aren’t recommended by many.
How Much Will An Epi Andro Cycle Cost You?
Of course, another thing that will be on your mind is how much an epiandrosterone cycle will cost you.
Well, let me start by saying it’s not going to be cheap.
A good quality bottle will cost roughly $80. Now, typically, a bottle will contain 60 capsules at 100mg 3-Epi andro per capsule.
Let’s say you’re running a 6-week cycle at 500mg per day, which is the dosage suggested by many users online.
To run it at that dosage, you’re going to need a total of 4 bottles. At $80 per bottle, that’s $320, which is quite expensive for a cycle.
And that’s not even taking the PCT supplement into account, which is $70. That means a cycle of Epi andro might easily cost you up to $400 if you’re looking to do things properly.
If you really want to know if it’s worth it, you’ll just have to try it for yourself. I wasn’t overly satisfied with the results, but a lot of people have been.
Epiandrosterone Side Effects
We often get asked if epiandrosterone causes side effects, and the answer is yes, it’s possible. There’s actually a significant part of users that run into adverse effects when taking this product.
Some of the side effects include hair loss, gyno, water retention, joint pain, but the main issue with Epiandrosterone is that it causes testosterone suppression.
That means, once you start epi andro, your natural hormone levels start to decline for the period of the cycle.
Then once you’re done taking it, you’ll need post cycle therapy to help support your hormones and get them back up.
So if you’re dead set on using this product, get yourself a bottle of Rebirth PCT to take once your cycle has been finished. Rebirth PCT is the most effective over-the-counter post cycle therapy for these kinds of products.
If you don’t use post cycle therapy once you’re done taking it, it will end up costing you the progress you’ve made from the cycle.
The Final Verdict
I’ve given you the rundown on Epiandrosterone and what the compound has to offer. After contrasting opinions on it, I tried it myself and found it to be relatively weak.
I made much better progress with the Advanced Anabolic stack, and it worked out to be cheaper as well, which is a nice plus.
In my opinion, Epi Andro is a product to use for cutting instead of bulking as it’ll help you preserve some muscle mass. I tried it during a bulk, and it didn’t really do much for me even though my diet and training were in check.
What I’m trying to say is, don’t expect too much from this. If you plan on using it, make sure to educate yourself on the potential side effects it can cause.
You will need post cycle therapy if you’re going to do a cycle with it, so get yourself a bottle of Huge Nutrition’s Rebirth PCT and take it for four weeks after finishing.
