Guy Blakeslee may have spent his formative years in Baltimore and done time in Chicago, but “Lookout!” is a pretty certain indicator that his Entrance Band been breathing in the Southern California air long enough for it to seep into his veins.

Taken from their self-titled new Ecstatic Peace/Universal album, “Lookout!” sounds a little like Sunset Strip 1967, a little like SST 1986 (anybody remember Painted Willie?), with a little bit of Topanga/Laurel Neil Young thing going on.
