It's hard out here for a pimp — just ask Katt Williams. The last time the funnyman performed at the Nokia Theatre, it was New Year's Eve 2011. He entered the stage sporting a king's robe and “mayor of Whoville” hair, announced he was un-retiring, joked about his string of arrests and sweated through topics ranging from relationships to the apocalypse to the deaths of Saddam and Gaddafi. (“They beat that n****r like Conrad Murray at a Michael Jackson concert.”) The next year, Williams was sued and arrested several more times on various charges; he also smacked a Target employee for allegedly calling him the N-word and said he was retiring, again. Well, the world didn't end for Williams, which is why he's returning to the Nokia for another midnight blowout, ready to un-retire, again. Besides, rap sheets equal comedy gold, and in Williams' case, his pimp cup runneth over. Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live, 777 Chick Hearn Court, dwntwn.; Tues., Dec. 31, 10 p.m.; $49.50-$125.
