Emperor Celebrate 30 Years: Norwegian black metal pioneers Emperor will perform a livestreamed concert on Sunday, dubbed “A Night of Emperial Wrath 2021.”

Members Ihsahn, Samoth and Trym will be joined by former members Faust and Mortiis (the latter is the guy who lived as a goblin in the forest for a long while). It makes sense, therefore, that the setlist on Sunday will feature songs from across their entire three decades.

“2021 marks 30 years since the formation of Emperor,” said frontman Ihsahn in a press release. “With the current state of the world, it’s been impossible to go ahead with scheduled plans. We now welcome you to join us in an exclusive streaming event. The show will take place at Notodden Theatre, 23rd of May.”
