2 Pronounced Dead after Traffic Collision near Lincoln Avenue in Anaheim

ANAHEIM, CA (November 2, 2021) – Saturday morning, Emmanuel Adeleke and Destiny Hernandez were killed in an accident on 57 Freeway.

The crash occurred around 2:45 a.m., on the northbound lanes of the freeway. Emergency responders arrived to the scene near the Lincoln Avenue off-ramp shortly after.

According to reports, it is still unknown how many vehicles were involved or what led to the incident.

One driver was later identified as 24-year-old Adeleke, of Santa Ana. He was taken to UCI Medical Center for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Although, he later succumbed to his injuries.

In addition, the passenger was identified as 22-year-old Hernandez, of Anaheim. She died on scene due to the extent of her condition.

The surrounding area was closed during preliminary duties, but has since reopened to traffic. Towing services were required to remove the damaged vehicle from the scene.
