James Frasco Arrested after Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-Run on Arville Street

LAS VEGAS, NV (August 22, 2022) – Early Tuesday morning, Emanuel Alonso-Manuel was killed in a pedestrian hit-and-run on West Flamingo Road.

The incident happened shortly after 4:30 a.m. along West Flamingo Road and Arville Street.

According to reports, Alonso-Manuel was crossing the road outside of a marked crosswalk, when he was fatally struck by a white Ford F-350. The driver, James Frasco, fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim.

Responding medics arrived and rushed 31-year-old Alonso-Manuel to UMC Trauma, where he died of blunt force head injuries.

Meanwhile, the search for Frasco led officers to an apartment complex near Harmon Avenue. There, they found and arrested Frasco and charged him with failing to stop at the scene of a fatal crash.

Investigators have not released any further information about the cause of the fatal accident at West Flamingo Road but will release additional updates when it becomes available.
