11-Year-Old Boy Injured in Motorcycle Collision near 35th Avenue
PHOENIX, AZ (September 26, 2022) – Friday night, a fiery motorcycle collision claimed the life of Elijah Hoffman and one other.
The incident happened on September 22nd, near the intersection of Sweetwater Road and 35th Avenue.
According to reports, Elijah Hoffman and a female passenger were riding a motorcycle along the road when they were struck by an SUV. The impact of the collision caused one or both of the vehicles to burst into flames.
Emergency crews arrived shortly after to extinguish the flames and render first aid. Officials pronounced Hoffman dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, medics transported the passenger of the motorcycle and an 11-year-old boy who was riding in the SUV to a local hospital for treatment.
The woman died at the hospital and the child is said to be in stable condition. Meanwhile, the driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
