Venice is about to get a taste of Eggslut's long, long lines.

According to a press release sent out by the RKF real estate group, Alvin Cailan's Egglsut will be taking over the 1,300-square-foot space at 1611 Pacific Ave. in Venice. There's no word on exactly when the new location will open, but given that the real estate deal just went down, we'd assume it will be a few months at least.

Eggslut began as a food truck in 2010 and opened a stall in Grand Central Market in 2013. Since then, it has consistently been the market's most popular stall, with lines for an egg sandwich snaking around the market. On weekends, the wait can stretch past an hour. This will be Eggslut's first stand-alone location, but with Ramen Champ now off Cailan's plate, I'd be surprised if it were its last. Look for Eggslut world domination soon.
