41-Year-Old Man Killed in Vehicle Crash on Interstate 80
WELLS, NV (March 8, 2022) – On Tuesday, a truck collision on Interstate 80 claimed the life of Edwin Jones, authorities said.
The vehicle crash took place on Interstate 80, approximately 2 miles east of Wells in northeast Nevada.
Furthermore, police said Jones was reportedly driving a 2021 Kenworth tractor-trailer headed west on Interstate 80.
Consequently, it collided with a truck with a tractor-trailer on the right shoulder, partly on the highway.
Eventually, the man was ejected from his trailer and died at the scene. Authorities later identified him as 41-year-old Edwin Jones.
The crash prompted the closure of the westbound Interstate 80 in the area for several hours.
