The ninth annual Los Angeles Edwardian Ball graced the Globe Theater on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 9 and 10t. An extension of San Francisco's famous event, the Edwardian Ball started life 18 years ago as the Edward Gorey Ball. With Gorey's macabre sensibilities and Los Angeles' sense of showmanship, the ball is almost impossible to describe — you'll see everything from a couture corset fashion show to birdmen walking among humans. We found the craziest, stripiest, most mustachioed people and here present our grandest pictographs for your edification and imagination.
