22-Year-Old Rider Killed in Motorcycle Crash near Wardlow Road

LONG BEACH, CA (March 22, 2022) – Tuesday morning, 22-year-old Eduardo Perez was killed in a motorcycle accident on 710 Freeway.

According to California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 9:30 a.m., on the northbound lanes of the freeway near Wardlow Road.

Under unknown circumstances, Perez was riding a motorcycle in the area that collided with a semi-truck. Due to the extent of injuries sustained medics pronounced the rider, Perez, dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, crews shut down three northbound lanes while police conducted the investigation. Police are now investigating further circumstances surrounding the deadly collision.
