Two-Car Collision Near Burnham Road Left 19-Year-Old Man Dead

OJAI VALLEY, CA (November 30, 2022) – Wednesday night, a car crash on Highway 150 claimed the life of Eduardo Bautista.

The fatal collision happened shortly after 6:20 p.m. between Santa Ana and Burnham Roads in the city of Ojai Valley.

According to reports, a Dodge Challenger crossed the double yellow lines and travelled into the path of an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado. The two vehicles then collided head-on.

Responding firefighters from Ventura County declared the Dodge driver dead at the scene. Later, authorities identified the deceased man as 19-year-old Eduardo Bautista from Ojai.

Meanwhile, the Silverado driver, identified as a 59-year-old Santa Maria man, and his teenage passenger remained unharmed.

The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the Highway 150 two-car collision.
