26-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Bicycle vs Motorcycle Accident near South Mojave Road
LAS VEGAS, NV (June 5, 2023) – Monday evening, Edgar Carabes was killed and cyclist was hurt in a motorcycle collision on East Desert Inn Road.
Police responded to the scene around 10:40 p.m., near South Mojave Road.
According to reports, the rider of a Honda motorcycle was speeding west on Desert Inn Road and struck a bicyclist as they were attempting to cross.
Medics arrived and transported both men to Sunrise Hospital where the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries. Officers identified the deceased man as 26-year-old Carabes.
Meanwhile, the bicyclist remained hospitalized in critical condition. Although, authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency.
At this time, an active investigation is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be provided.
