Eddie Izzard brings to you all the things that matter so much: God, the dinosaurs, and the secret life of your machines. It's a primer for his upcoming international 2013 tour Force Majeure, which means “act of God,” so that gives you an idea of the gist of the grist for his humor mill. And yet Izzard is resolutely brimming with surprises – witness his role as Grandpa in Mockingbird Lane, the Bryan Singer-produced teevee remake of The Munsters. He put on a memorable recent public appearance in L.A. doing his act stand-up for a sold-out crowd at the Hollywood Bowl at which he ran up and down those aerobically imposing concrete steps so that the entire amphitheater could see him. Tonight marks a rare opportunity to see the world's most famous cross-dressing satirist at his intimate, obstinate best.
