The adage don't get high on your own supply seems to have its roots in the hazy daze of the 1970s, but it couldn't be more appropriate than today, when certain recreational medicine is as powerful as ever.

Case in point: One suspect called 911 after apparently tripping (for lack of a better word) balls, cops allege.

When the LAPD showed up to said suspect's pad at 2:45 yesterday morning you just know what they claim to have found. CBS Los Angeles has the scoop:

… Around 3,000 ecstasy pills, with a street value of $10 to $20 each.

Let's see, multiply the 3K by 10 and / or 20, carry the one … oh hell, CBS2 says it was as much as $60,000 worth.

(Some allegedly bigger drug dealer is probably going to be really pissed).

The discovery apparently happened at the E-tard's suspect's residence in the 100 block of S. Reno Street, which is near the beautiful Westlake District.

All that stash now belongs to the LAPD, police say.
