Let's go ahead and cut to the controversial chase: There's a Silver Lake food festival coming in November, and it's called the IHeartSilverlake Eastside Food Festival. For those of you who want to remind us, again, that Silver Lake is not on the Eastside, technically, we appreciate your concern. But we didn't name the festival.

The festival is being put on by Mack Sennett Studios, Castle Gourmet and Food Is the New Rock, the podcast run by Zach Brooks of Midtown Lunch. It will take place on Sunday, Nov. 9, from 4-8 p.m. at Mack Sennett Studios in Silver Lake.

The festival will feature 25 food vendors from Silver Lake, Highland Park, Echo Park and the surrounding neighborhoods. Confirmed vendors include Donut Friend, El Condor, Guelaguetza, L&E Oyster Bar, Little Beast, Pine & Crane and Oinkster.

There will also be music from local DJs, discussions and panels, and a raffle to benefit PATH (People Assisting the Homeless), a nonprofit organization for the homeless of Los Angeles.

Tickets are on sale now starting at $35 and going up to $65 for VIP access (ticket prices increase mainly based on how many drinks you want), but they go up tomorrow by $5. You can purchase tickets here
