Ear Ringers: One of our favorite albums of all time would have to be Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band by the Beatles. This album made us pay attention to a lot of the little details in each song that made it complete and as musicians we try to experiment with how we can imply that in our music. All though we are an indie rock group, albums like Sgt. Pepper make us want to break from the standard song structure and push ourselves to write more interesting songs.
Sgt. Pepper is a lot of fun to listen to. It makes us talk to each other like “did you catch that?” and rewind the song to point out what we’re talking about. We are Beatles fans and love all their music but Sgt. Pepper stands out from everything else they’ve put out. We honestly don’t think there will be another album like it in our time.
