Fiery Car Accident Leaves Driver Seriously Hurt in Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 9, 2021) – Authorities identified Dylon McGee as the injured driver in a fiery crash on Old Farm Road on Monday.

According to the CHP, the incident happened near the intersection of Palm Avenue after a driver failed to stop at a stop sign.

Afterwards, investigators stated that McGee swerved left and collided with a tractor-trailer parked along Old Farm Road.

As a result, McGee’s vehicle caught fire, and witnesses in the neighborhood attempted to put out the flames with a garden hose.

Eventually, the firefighters arrived at the scene and extracted the driver inside the burning vehicle.

Paramedics later transported 17-year-old Dylon McGee into a local hospital with critical injuries. However, his current condition has not been updated.
