Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision on Senilis Avenue
MORONGO VALLEY, CA (May 16, 2022) – Monday afternoon, 25-year-old Dylan Motte was killed in a pedestrian collision on Highway 62.
The incident occurred around 2:10 p.m., near Senilis Avenue.
Per reports, Robert Garcia was driving a Ford F-150 west when he crossed into the center median for reasons unknown.
There, Garcia struck Motte who was standing next to his work truck in the center median. The impact also pushed the Chevrolet into an eastbound SUV.
Eventually, first responders arrived at the scene and transported Motte to Desert Regional Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, Garcia received moderate injuries and the driver of the other truck remained uninjured.
No further details have been provided. At this time, Morongo Valley Officials continue to investigate the deadly collision.
