Nipomo Bicyclist Killed in Deadly Accident near El Campo Road

ARROYO GRANDE, CA (May 16, 2022) – Friday, 19-year-old Dylan Lammers was arrested after a fatal bicycle collision at Los Berros Road.

The crash took place around 11:20 p.m. on May 13th, at Los Berros Road just south of El Campo Road.

As per reports, Lammers was driving a vehicle and reportedly did not notice the victim on the righthand side of the road. As a result, the driver struck the bicyclist, causing fatal injuries.

At this time, officials only described the deceased victim as a 19-year-old bicyclist from Nipomo.

Meanwhile, 41-year-old Lammers left the scene after the collision but later called the authorities to report it. Officials eventually arrested Lammers at his residence.

As authorities continue to investigate the fatal crash, they urge anyone who has information to contact the police at (805) 594-8700.
