Watch out, Intelligentsia and The Donut Man. Dunkin' Donuts is coming to Los Angeles. The Massachussetts-based company, which was founded in 1950 in Quincy, Mass., has announced that they will open 20 new shops in the San Fernando Valley and Orange County over the next several years.

The ten Dunkin' Donuts in the SFV will be developed by Aharon Aminpour, who plans to open the first of them in 2015. The OC restaurants will be developed by Precision Hospitality & Development in South Orange County and the surrounding cities. Led by real estate developer Joe Haupt, the first of these is also planned for 2015.

The company has store development agreements for more than 150 new free-standing Dunkin' Donuts restaurants and currently has plans for as many as 1,000 Dunkin' Donuts restaurants throughout the state.

They're still looking for people to run their franchises, so if you're reading this – and maybe badly in need of a cup of coffee and a doughnut – in Palm Springs, Santa Clarita Valley, Ventura County, Glendale and Burbank, as well as in Central and Northern California, maybe give them a buzz.
