Suspect Arrested after Striking Man near West Nordhoff Street

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 2, 2021) – Thursday morning, a man sustained severe injuries after hit-and-run crash on North Hills Street.

The crash occurred just after 1:00 a.m., at the 15500 block of West Nordhoff Street near Our Lady of Peace Church, as per report.

According to the investigators, California Highway Patrol stopped a suspicious car at Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Paxton Street.

The CHP officers did not know about the hit-and-run at the time, but they stopped the automobile because it raised their suspicions and they saw the vehicle had considerable impact damage, according to authorities.

The driver was detained on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after calling the LAPD and making the link to the hit-and-run.
