June gloom seems to have come early to Southern California.

That doesn't mean a little cloudy weather will stop party people from hitting the bars and clubs tonight. The Los Angeles Police Department and other area agencies are ready for you with DUI checkpoints and patrols.

They're nice enough to give you a warning about where they'll be and when they'll be there. The LAPD believes that broadcasting a heads up can dissuade some of you from getting behind the wheel after one too many.

“The Los Angeles Police Department reminds everyone that they can assist in preventing this crime from ever occurring,” the LAPD said in a statement this week.

Here's your weekend 411:

-Tonight from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. a checkpoint will be waiting for you on Sunset Boulevard and Fountain Avenue in Silver Lake.

-Tonight from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. a checkpoint will be looking for party people on Sunset Boulevard at Orange Grove Avenue in Hollywood.

-Saturday from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. a checkpoint will be set up for your convenience on Osborne Street at Laurel Canyon Boulevard in fragrant Pacoima.

Don't say we didn't warn you. Be safe.
