This is probably a little preview for you merry holiday pranksters.

The LAPD is just getting warmed up, and you haven't even bought your turkey yet.

The department has three — count 'em — three DUI enforcement operations happening this weekend, including a dreaded drunk-driver checkpoint in Koreatown Friday night.

Here's the rundown:

-DUI and drivers license checkpoint, 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday (-Saturday), South Vermont Avenue between Fifth and Sixth streets.

-DUI “saturation patrol” Saturday from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the LAPD's Newton Division area south of downtown (PDF).
