Last weekend cops were swarming the streets like the Ravens' defensive line shutting down a last-minute touchdown attempt by the 49ers.

It was rough out there because, cops and experts say, Super Bowl weekend is one of the worst times of the year for DUI accidents.

But if you thought you were off the hook, think again:

The Long Beach Police Department says it will be conducting a DUI checkpoint from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. Saturday.

And while they don't tell us where these things are, they put out enough information to let you be well-informed:

It will be in the department's North Division area.

Long Beach police say they actually want you to have this info in the hope that you won't drink and drive.

Research shows that crashes involving alcohol drop by an average of 20 percent when well-publicized checkpoints are conducted often enough.

We don't know of any other drunk-driving enforcement operations for the weekend, but check in with Mr. Checkpoint for the latest.

Don't say we didn't warn ya.
