Three-Vehicle Crash on Willow Glen Drive Left Two Hurt

SAN DIEGO, CA (March 29, 2022) – Monday morning, a head-on crash on Willow Glen Drive left two people injured, police said.

The crash occurred around 9:25 a.m. near Willow Glen Drive.

Furthermore, authorities said a Toyota Camry was struck head-on by a black Kia that was crossing the double yellow lines.

Consequently, the Kia suddenly diverged back into the traffic lanes westbound and hit a gold Honda Accord.

Eventually, the 45-year-old Camry driver and the 41-year-old Kia driver were both rushed to a hospital with moderate and non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile the 62-year-old Chula Vista man, the Honda Accord driver, did not sustain injuries.

As of that time, the cause of what led the driver to veer into the eastbound lanes remained undetermined.

However, an investigation into the collision is ongoing.
