The multi-car crash took place on 35900 Pacific Highway South around 4:00 p.m. on December 13th.

According to the State Troopers, the events that led to the crash remain unknown. However, the accident involved three vehicles, including a tractor-trailer.

Responding officers found no major injuries from the crash, although the truck driver was forced to extricate himself from the truck to escape from debris.

At this time, police said it is unknown whether speed, drugs, or alcohol played a role in the collision on Pacific Highway. However, an active investigation is underway.

Because of their sheer size, large vehicles, like semi-trucks and trailers, increase the risk of a crash. If you’re driving one, always be mindful of your vehicle’s large height and weight. Maintain your travel lane and follow the speed limit. Also, adjust accordingly to give way for lane changes and other vehicles.
