Pickup Truck Driver Dies in Multi-Car Crash in Anaheim Hills

ANAHEIM, CA (July 30, 2021) – Wednesday afternoon on July 21, a driver was killed in a two-vehicle collision on 91 Freeway.

The crash took place around 3:45 p.m., on the westbound lanes of 91 Freeway. Dispatchers arrived near the Imperial Highway overpass shortly after.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Ford F-150 traveling west on the right shoulder attempted to bypass traffic and struck a Ford Mustang.

As a result, the driver became trapped inside the pickup-truck. Despite life-saving efforts, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the driver was not immediately published. In addition, there were no further injuries recorded as a result of the collision.

Once available, more information will be released about the collision on 91 Freeway.
