1 Pronounced Dead after Minibike Crash on North Mason Avenue

CHATSWORTH, CA (April 12, 2022) – Tuesday evening, a fatal minibike collision on Mason Avenue left one victim dead.

Around 8:25 p.m., the collision occurred at the 10200 block of North Mason Avenue, according to the L.A. Fire Department.

Authorities immediately responded to the scene upon receiving reports about a crash between an SUV and a minibike. However, the events leading up to the incident still remain unclear.

Per reports, first responders pronounced the minibike rider dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the SUV driver sustained no injuries and remained at the scene.

No other injuries from the crash were reported, and further details were not made available.

A large portion of the roadway was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the collision is under active investigation at this time.
