1 Fatally Struck in Big-Rig Versus Sedan Crash near Morongo Trail

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA – (October 13, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a driver was killed in a semi-truck collision on Interstate 10. 

The deadly crash happened around 1:45 p.m., along westbound I-10, just east of Morongo Trail. 

According to reports, a speeding sedan driver collided with a big-rig for reasons still under investigation. 

Responding personnel declared the driver of the sedan dead at the scene. However, authorities have not yet released his identity. Meanwhile, the semi-truck driver remained uninjured from the incident.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. 

No further details regarding the semi-truck collision on Interstate 10 have been released to the public. Riverside County Officials will provide more information once available.
