Traffic Collision near 91 Freeway Left Lanes Closed

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 23, 2022)On Wednesday, a vehicle crash on Harbor Freeway involving a big rig truck left the driver injured.

The crash happened on Harbor (11) Freeway just south of the Artesia (91) Freeway around 8:00 a.m.

Furthermore, callers reported to the California Highway Patrol that a vehicle was trapped under a big rig that was still driving down the freeway.

Eventually the driver stopped and crews worked to free the occupant of a pickup truck that was wedged underneath the big rig, before transporting them to a local hospital.

Because of the collision, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Eventually, shortly after 9:00 a.m., the police had the wreckage moved off to the right side of the freeway.

Moreover, the condition of the injured driver was not immediately available.

An active investigation into the crash is currently ongoing.
