Traffic Collision on Highway 99 Left One Hurt

FRESNO, CA (June 21, 2022) – On Saturday, a two-vehicle crash on Shaw Avenue left one driver injured, police said.

According to the report, the incident happened around 3:00 p.m. on Shaw Avenue, on the overpass above the highway.

Furthermore, the responding officials spotted the front wheels of a small SUV hanging over the edge.

In addition, the collision also affected passing traffic as authorities cleared out and extricated the occupants of the hanging vehicle.

Investigators claimed that two vehicles crashed after one driver did not stop at a red light.

In the end, one driver sustained minor injuries. No further details regarding the two-vehicle crash are public at this time; however, more information will be provided by Fresno Officials once made available.
