Hit-and-Run near Grand Hope Park Resulted in Injuries, Suspect At Large

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 19, 2022) – Early Friday morning, a hit-and-run on West Olympic Boulevard left one driver injured. 

The incident occurred on October 7th, at around 6:45 a.m. between South Hope Street and South Grand Avenue, near Grand Hope Park. 

According to reports, the female driver of a black 2018 Cadillac XTS made a left turn without yielding into oncoming traffic.

As a result, the woman collided with a tan van traveling eastbound on West Olympic Boulevard. Following the collision, the Cadillac driver refused to exchange information with the van driver and fled the scene on foot. 

Responding medical personnel treated the van driver for minor injuries at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.

At this time, police are still looking for the suspect, described to be a 6 foot 4 woman with black hair that weighs around 160 pounds.
